God Will Take Care of You!

Focus Text: Psalms 105:12-15
It is good to know that, whether we feel it all of the time or not, that God is with us, is concerned about us, and will take care of us. Therefore, we should put all of our cares in His hands. He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we are able to ask or think. (Ephesians 3:20) If we need a door opened, He can open it; if we need a door closed, He can close it. There is nothing too hard for God. (Jeremiah 32:27)
Only God can keep us, which is why we owe Him the glory. We must seek the strength of The Lord and seek His face. We must never forget all that God has done for us. There is no situation that God can deliver us from. We must trust that He can bring us through. (see Psalms 46:1) Sometimes we are in situations that we did not cause, but nevertheless, we must deal with them. Even then, God is still on our side and will come to our rescue. Even Joseph was sold into slavery against his will, but God had a purpose and a plan for him. There is a purpose for your suffering, which is why we must endure the trials we face. We have to keep our mind and focus on The Lord. We may not know why we face some situations, but God does. So, we must trust in Him.
God has a plan for our lives and will take care of us. Just as Joseph faced trouble that he didn’t cause and endured it to get to the place God had for him, we must also hold on to God until He brings us into our blessing. Just put your hand in His hand and hold on. God had put us in strategic places to accomplish His purpose for our lives. God put Joseph in a place where he could deliver and bless his family when famine came. Joseph could have been angry and refused to help his brothers, who had sold him into slavery, but he did what God wanted him to do. He knew the wrong his brother’s did was God’s will even though it was painful to endure. He sent Joseph before his family to preserve their lives. He came out knowing that God delivered them. Joseph had a reason to complain but he didn’t. Joseph could have let his brothers blame themselves, but he did not. Whatever it is that is in your life that is wearing you down, hang on, stand still, and give God through the glory through it all! He will bring you out!
To survive, fear not, for you are in the place of God. (see Genesis 50:19) Stop complaining. Stop running. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. Turn your complaints into praise and let God turn the bad into good!
Don’t put time frames on God. Humble yourself under His hand and He will exalt you in due time. How long is “due time?” However long God says, whether today, next week, next year, or longer. Remain humble and wait on Him. When you are under His hand, He has total control and can work in your situation. (See I Peter 5:10) (see Psalms 37:7)

Pastor Turner says ‘Deal with it’

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 10:5
Pastor Louise Turner of Bible Way Apostolic preaches during the Fellowship Service on Sunday.

Notes: The devil is trying to convince you that you are powerless and that your life is as good as it is going to get. He wants you to think you can’t change aspects of your personality and areas of weakness, but we have power to control the things that come out of us that are not like God. God gives us grace to do this. Sometimes you have to tell the devil that you know he is full of deception and up to no good. He wants us to deviate from the will of God. There is nothing better than faith and pursuing the will of God.

Weighed down
Sometimes we’re carrying excess baggage. Sometimes you have to learn to confess your faults. Speaking in tongues is not going to fix it. It’s up to you to use the authority that God has given you. He has given you joy. Stand still and see His salvation. God is trying to take you to another level, but you have to let Him come in and clean you up on the inside. Can’t nobody see the inside of you like God. God is saying everything will be alright and to deal with your situation. You will come out as gold in the fire. Know that God has you going through for a reason, but you have to go through before you can get there. You can’t get to Z before going through A. Deal with the situation. (more…)

‘If you won’t praise Him, someone else will’

Bishop Eugene Johnson of Madison Pentecostal Assembly in Madison, Wis., combined previous messages to lead a Bible study lesson on the vastness of God’s glory. “What is man that thou are mindful of him,” he said, making note of our significance in the big scheme of creation. We were created for His glory and formed for His praise, he said. God made man a little lower than the angels, he preached, comparing humans to Satan, and citing the blessing of Jesus’ perfect sacrifice and the rapture that is to come for us.
