You ever get the feeling that you’re under attack? Last week, we hit on foundation. While one of the most controversial topics within Christendom, it also serves as the most indispensable element of Christian living. When we think about how God serves His people, it is always within the foundation of justice and judgement. Since the fall of man, God’s mission has been to re-establish man to inherit his place with Him. That means submitting to the task of putting on the breastplate of righteousness! It is a task we should be honored to complete. Everything He has created, established and covered has been for man to observe and adopt the foundation He established in the beginning. Therefore, yes, His desire is that all may reject sin and aim for holiness.
Satan works daily
Just as in the Garden of Eden, at the beginning of time, Satan still works daily to overthrow God’s assignment. He seeks to dismount and eradicate the foundation, Christ Himself and everything connected to Him. “For we are God’s coworkers. You are God’s field, God’s building” (1 Corinthians 3:9, CSB). Satan wants to us. His garden experience is strikingly similar every second of the day. Watching for our fall; awaiting the tragedy. “Control yourselves and be careful! The devil is your enemy, and he goes around like a roaring lion looking for someone to attack and eat” (1 Peter 5:8, ERV). The amazing ending to this attack by the enemy is that God “is not slack on His promise” to us. He’s not sloppy! His service for us and to us is FIVE STARS 🌟🌟 🌟🌟🌟 and more. “The yes to all of God’s promises is in Christ. And that is why we say ‘Amen’ through Christ to the glory of God” (2 Corinthians 1:20, ERV).
Satan is a Liar
Satan works to end this thought! However, he is a liar! Standing on the foundation of Christ, that He came that no one would die eternally, gives us hope. God’s status of beyond FIVE STARS 🌟🌟 🌟🌟🌟 isn’t just talk… but a fact we can risk our lifetime proving. Holy people rise to the assignment and live out the deliverance our Lord has handed you. See the truth in the wreckage’s midst. Cry aloud to your God and believe every word He has declared over your life. “And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you]” (Romans 12:2, AMP). Stand against what seems to make sense, for Satan wishes to sift you as wheat (Luke 22:31) as he requested to do with Simon Peter.
